First cases hit Hart

Hart County joined the growing number of counties in Georgia infected by the novel coronavirus as the first four cases of COVID-19 were reported in the county over the past week, coming on the heels of President Donald Trump declaring Georgia as a major disaster area due to the impacts of the virus.

Hart County now has 2 confirmed cases

Hart County now has two confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the noon status update from the Georgia Department of Public Health.  The first case in the county was confirmed in the 7 p.m. report released Friday, March 27.

FFA plant sale a drive-through event this year

The Hart County FFA plant sale on April 3 and 4 will be a drive-through event this year. “Obviously it will be a bit different this year,” said Hart County High School’s FFA advisor Anna Smith.

First COVID-19 case confirmed in Hart County

Hart County's first case of COVID-19 was reported by the state Department of Public Health in its 7 p.m. status update on Friday. No information about the case was immediately available. More details will be reported as they become available.
