Bill Leard was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award during the Hart County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Awards Banquet Jan. 26.

Doug Deming and The Jewel Tones will headline High Cotton Friday, April 14 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance online and $25 at the door.
The annual Hart County Botanical Gardens plant sale will take place Saturday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. variety of plants, shrubs, natives, perennials, and annuals, including some unusual and difficult to find offerings will be featured. This year a sizable selection of transplants from Friends of the Garden’s yards will be offered at very reasonable prices.
The Hart County Retired Educators had meetings in March and April. The guest speakers were Brooks Mewborn and Dr. Daniel Gordon (pictured left).
