Charlie Jordan hates Oreos. However that wasn’t always the case for the 77-year-old Hartwell native. No, this was a somewhat unusual result from his somewhat unusual job as a professional Santa. “I get paid to play with other people’s grandchildren,” Jordan said.

The Hart County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:   March 7   Amy Adkins, 43, of Hartwell was arrested and charged with probation violation - DUI. Kelsey King, 28, of Hartwell was arrested and charged with driving with suspended or revoked drivers license and no insurance.
