Cateechee is business of month

Building a viable Conference Center, Corporate Retreat and Destination Wedding Venue was the goal in March of 2017 when Charly and Kelli Schell purchased Cateechee. They wanted out-of-town guests to connect with Hartwell and keep coming back.

Hart 4-H’ers attend National Congress

Rachel and Ben Tellano from Hart County 4-H represented Georgia at the 2019 National Congress in Atlanta from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3.  More than 800 senior 4-H’ers from around the United States came to the event as state winners.

Holiday Bazaar back for another crafty Christmas

The 9th annual Holiday Bazaar hosted by Hart Life Pregnancy Care Center will offer Christmas shoppers a chance to shop locally on Dec. 7. “The vendors are excited and ready for you to shop for your special handmade holiday gifts,” Executive Director of Hart Life Tammy Frye said.

Drive slowly when pulling up to Outsiders Farm and Sanctuary in Hart County. You never know when a young pig will come darting in front of you between the ducks and roosters roaming around the farm. That was the case during a recent visit to the pot-bellied pig rescue.
