Hart County IBA seeks Director of Economic Development

Dwayne Dye, the incomparable Director of Economic Development for the Hart County Industrial Building Authority (IBA), is slated to retire at the end of 2024. But, he made it clear he doesn’t want any praise for work. “I’m not looking for any kind of recognition,” Dye said.

The Northern Lights meets southern comfort

Aurora borealis, better known as the Northern Lights, is a phenomenon that is rarely ever seen in Georgia’s night sky. Due to an G5 Geomagnetic Storm Observation across the United States on Friday, the northern lights were spotted as far south Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina.
