Make-A-Wish surprises Hartwell child with golf cart

On May 17th, the Make-A-Wish Foundation partnered with E-Z-GO to surprise three-year-old Jackson Moon with the golf cart he’s always wanted. The Moon family’s relatives and close friends watched as the young boy received the gift, nearly a year and a half after a diagnosis that changed their lives.

American Legion to honor our fallen heroes on Memorial Day

The American Legion Post 109 honors the fallen heroes by placing flags on the square and then on the graves of veterans around the county, all while holding a Memorial Day Ceremony on May 27 at 11 a.m. at the Hart County Courthouse.

Primary brings victories for incumbents

Election Day culminated in decisive victories for Hart County incumbents in every contested race. Data from the Hart County Board of Elections displayed that a mere 25.
