Governor officially suspends county commissioner

Old method meets new technology in bright idea

Hart County Middle School Teacher Leland Jones is making it easier for students to show their work while doing math on their computers. Jones plans to use the money he received from his Hart EMC Bright Ideas Grant to buy what he described as “slates” for his students.

Kiwi Crates aim of teacher’s grant money

North Hart Elementary School Teacher Emilee Patrick is not letting virtual learning prevent her fifth-grade students from getting an interactive learning experience. “This year, I really wanted to think of an idea that could get my kids’ hands on their learning,” Patrick said.
