Nearly a quarter of students to be online

Nearly one-quarter of all Hart County students are scheduled to spend the coming semester learning through their computers. Approximately 23 percent of the student body, grades K-12, have registered for virtual learning so far, according to the Hart County Charter System.

Vickery kept Hartwell, family in her heart

A life dedicated to telling the stories of the people and communities of Hart County came to an end July 31 when long-time editor of The Hartwell Sun, Juanelle “Wassie” Vickery, died from complications with COVID-19. She was 91.
