Bowersville hears first reading of ordinance

Bowersville is charging forward with its alcohol ordinance. The town council heard the first reading of the proposed ordinance last Thursday at its regular meeting. No action was taken on the proposed ordinance.

Voter turnout setting records locally, statewide

Turnout on the first day of early voting set records across the state, and it was no different in Hart County. Elections coordinator Robin Webb told The Sun more than 1,100 people voted in Hart County during the first two days of advanced in-person voting.
