Racket Dogs split the week’s matches

The Hart County High School tennis teams split a pair of region matches over the past week. The Racket Dogs traveled to East Jackson last Thursday, March 4, where both the boys’ and girls’ teams captured 4-1 region victories, before both teams fell to Oconee County 1-4 on Tuesday at home.

Pickleball tournament draws hundreds of players

The Bell Family YMCA was the epicenter of pickleball activity in Northeast Georgia last weekend during the March Madness Picklebal tournament. “We had a little bit of everything this past weekend,” said tournament director Eddie McCurley, of the Lake Hartwell Pickleball Club.

Tennis teams notch region win

The Hart County High School tennis teams swung a big region win on Tuesday at home as the team looks ahead to more region matches. Hart County’s boys took a 3-2 victory over Franklin County on Tuesday, March 2 at home, while the girls also defeated Franklin 4-1.

Soccer Dogs continue success with region win

The Victory Bell was ringing Tuesday night at Hart County High School as the boys’ soccer team captured its first region win of the season. The Bulldogs netted a 7-1 region victory over Stephens County on March 2 at home to move Hart County’s record to 4-1 on the season.
