The Dogs completed the comeback road victory over Oconee County to end the preseason.On Aug. 13, Hart County traveled down to Watkinsville to take on the Warriors of Oconee County in the second of two preseason scrimmage games.

This week’s Athlete of the Week, presented by Johnson Heating & Air, goes to softball’s junior pitcher and infielder Kylie Gurecky. Although Gurecky recently transferred in from a school in North Carolina, she has already begun to make her impact on the diamond.

Dogs defeat patriots in dominant fashion

The Dogs dominated the Patriots to come away with an impressive win in the first of two scrimmages for Hart County.On Aug. 7, the Bulldogs hosted the Patriots of Oglethorpe County in a scrimmage before kicking off the regular season.
