Pickleball tournament set for weekend at Y

The Lake Hartwell Pickleball Club will host the third annual March Madness Pickleball Tournament at the Bell Family YMCA  this Friday and Saturday, March 5-6. The tournament will start at 9 a.m. on Friday and end at about 4 p.m.. Play will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, ending around 4 p.m.

Soccer Dogs continue success with region win

The Victory Bell was ringing Tuesday night at Hart County High School as the boys’ soccer team captured its first region win of the season. The Bulldogs netted a 7-1 region victory over Stephens County on March 2 at home to move Hart County’s record to 4-1 on the season.
