The Hart County boys golf team continues it’s up beaten streak with wins over Oconee County, White County and East Jackson.
On Thursday, March 24, Hart defeated Oconee County at Cateechee, 173-205, in their lowest score of the season.
Junior Payne Oglesby had the low score of the match with a 38.

Diamond Dogs sweep East Jackson Eagles

The Hart County Diamond Dogs finished the sweep of East Jackson with doubleheader wins last Friday.
The baseball team traveled to Commerce to face the Eagles twice on Friday, March 25.
Hart won the first game 3-2, needing a run in an extra inning to win.
Paul Davis led the team in hits with two.

The Hart County boys soccer team beat Franklin County to punch their ticket to the state playoffs for only the third time in program history.
Coach Benjamin Hudson said this year’s match up with their rivals from Franklin County carried a lot of emotion after losing to them last season, 6-1.

The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture and Georgia Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) are jointly promoting agricultural literacy by donating copies of the children’s book “How to Grow a Monster” to nearly 400 libraries in the Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS).
