Do you ever look and not see? I’m guilty of that sometimes. But usually, I am fascinated by the simplest things.  I like what European author/poet/songwriter Charlotte Eriksson has to say about that. “There’s a whole world out there, right outside your window.

Delivering papers and receiving generosity

I was taking in the tragic events unfolding from Uvalde, Texas last Monday and Tuesday as our deadline for the May 26 paper came and went. I was still processing the news and didn’t feel like I had the time or bandwidth to crank out a meaningful column on the topic for you.

Have you ever read or watched a good mystery? The author will incorporate elements in the beginning of the story to allude to the big reveal which happens later. This is called foreshadowing. As we take a chronological survey of the life of King David, we find he is a foreshadowing of Jesus.

If we want to check out our spiritual appearance, we need to gaze into our spiritual mirror. Our spiritual appearance should be of great importance to every Christian. The Apostle Paul instructed us to examine ourselves to see if we were in the faith.
