Bulldogs dominate All-Region 8-AAA team

A host of Bulldogs occupy the recently released 2019 All-Region 8-AAA football team, with one earning top honors. Twenty-two Hart County players were named to the all-region list in either the first-team, second-team or honorable mention lists.

Bulldogs topple Devils in opener, win first two

The Hart County boys’ basketball team opened its season with a rivalry win  on Saturday as the Bulldogs toppled Elbert County 89-54 in Elberton. The No. 5-ranked Bulldogs continued their winning ways Tuesday night with a 61-26 road win over Jackson County.

9U Bulldogs win regional super bowl

The Hart County Recreation Department’s 9-and-under football team won the North Georgia Youth Football Association AFC Chmapionship Saturday, Nov. 16 at Cherokee Bluff and finished its season with a perfect 9-0 record. The team beat Jefferson 31-18 to bring home the trophy.

Bulldogs set to battle Pierce County

The Hart County Bulldogs will travel into unfamiliar territory Friday night — more than 230 miles away from home — looking to surpass Region 2-AAA Champions Pierce County in the second round of the AAA state playoffs. “They’re a solid football team,” head coach Rance Gillespie said.
