Volleydogs welcome new head coach for 2019

The Hart County High School volleyball team will be under the guidance of a former Volleydog this year. Hart County native Kate Powell is set to take over as head coach of the volleyball team for the 2019-2020 season. Previously, Powell served as an assistant coach on the team.

With each passing day, football season gets closer and closer — and the Hart County Bulldogs are wasting no time preparing. On July 17 and 18, the ‘Dogs loaded up their pads and traveled to Habersham Central for a contact camp.

Hart County High School has found a new head wrestling coach, who is an accomplished wrestler himself, to lead the way on the mat. LaFayette native Preston McCalmon will take the reins for the Mat Dogs as head coach in the upcoming season.
