Volleydogs continue racking up the wins

The Hart County High School Volleydogs continued their winning ways this week with several non-region triumphs. The Volleydogs captured two victories at home on Thursday, Sept. 17, as well as two road wins on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Legion to host golf tournament

American Legion Post 109 will host the 2020 Veterans’ Benefit Golf Tournament on Sept. 26 at Hartwell Golf Club. The event was originally slated for April, but was postponed due statewide coronavirus restrictions. The tournament is set to start with lunch at 11 a.m.

Hart seeks first win at North Hall

The Hart County Bulldogs are hitting the road this week, albeit without the band or the Bulldog faithful, in an attempt to bounce back from two-straight losses. The Bulldogs (0-2) are scheduled to face the North Hall Trojans in Gainesville on Friday as both squads seek their first win of the season.

White County outlasts Hart in high-scoring affair

More than 570 yards of total offense wasn’t enough to give Hart County a victory in the team’s home-opener Friday night, resulting in the Bulldogs’ second loss of the season and dropping them out of the top-10 rankings.

The Hart County High School Volleydogs remain undefeated in Region 8-AAA and are taking over the No. 1 spot after two big wins at home Tuesday night and two road wins last week. The Volleydogs captured two big region wins over Monroe Area and Oconee County in front of a home crowd on Sept. 15.

Volleydogs look to bounce back in region

The Hart County High School Volleydogs are looking to bounce back in a couple of upcoming region matches as they come off of two non-region losses. The Volleydogs dropped their record to .500 with a 7-7 overall record after losses on the road last Thursday against Morgan County and North Oconee.

Lady Diamond Dogs split in region matchups

The Lady Diamond Dogs handed out a 9-0 region shutout win over Monroe Area last Wednesday, Sept. 2, but were subsequently shutout 7-0 by region foe Franklin County the next night.

Hart preps for pass-happy White County

The stage is set for Hart County’s home-opener against White County (1-0) in Herndon Stadium on Friday, as the Bulldogs look to bounce back from a loss and the Warriors seek to stay undefeated. The AAA No. 8-ranked Hart County Bulldogs are scheduled to face White County at 7:30 p.m.
