Ossoff bipartisan bill to help veterans in rural areas

Bowersville discusses one-way roads

The Town of Bowersville City Council gathered for their second regular meeting of 2024 on the evening of Feb. 15. The meeting was well-attended as the new leadership, sworn in Jan. 2, has encouraged Bowersville residents to come and make their concerns and suggestions known.

Lady Dogs start season undefeated

The Lady Dogs are off to a hot start as they defeated Elbert County on the road and Rabun County at home. Hart traveled to the Granite Bowl to kick off their season against the Lady Devils of Elbert County Feb. 9.

For over fifteen years, Hartwell’s The Storage Box has offered residents a location to store their belongings in a climate controlled setting. Since opening in 2008 on West Howell St., storage units have been a popular commodity among Hart Countians.

Lake Hartwell resident  and University of Georgia graduate Carol H. Farmer has written a new children’s book called Leo the Lovable Lab. Carol recently relocated to the lake, embracing a new lifestyle  surrounded by freely roaming animals.
