Death at Hartwell Marina claims life of Commerce man

A Commerce man, 47-year-old Randy Lamar Beasley, died last Saturday, Aug. 3 at Hartwell Marina on Lake Hartwell. According to Hart County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Captain Chris Carroll, around 7:19 p.m.

Law enforcement still investigating shootings

The Hart County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), as well as Hartwell Police Department, are still investigating a series of potentially gang-related shootings that occurred on Sunday, July 21 and Friday, July 26. Out of the four shootings on July 21, three occurred inside Hartwell city limits.
