Bowersville employee admits to stealing from water fund

Bowersville resident and city employee Jerry Henderson confessed to Hart County investigators to stealing $3,910 from the Bowersville water fund and paid back the full amount after pressure from city officials.

‘Close to Home’ exhibit to debut at Art Center

The Hartwell Art Center announced the opening of “Close to Home,” the first exhibit of the 2023 season that showcases works by local artist Ganine Giorgione Derleth. The exhibit starts Thursday, Jan. 5 with the opening reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hartwell Art Center.
