Hart County’s Adam Dye has been promoted to the Regional Lending Manager of AgGeorgia Farm Credit. Dye has been with AgGeorgia since 2014 as a Loan Officer at the Washington Branch.

Junior Gray (left) and Cade Carter (right) are bringing back “old-school” ways of butchering through Hometown Butcher LLC. The independent custom butcher shop is located on Royston Highway in Canon.
The Georgia Department of Transportation has begun working on replacing the bridge over Beaverdam Creek on State Route 8. The project will require off-site detours scheduled to begin Feb. 7.

A fire at this home on Bowersville Highway left one dead Jan. 27. The investigation as to the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
