Hart 4-H'ers compete at district

Hart County 4-H’ers competed at the Northeast District Junior/Senior Project Achievement at Rock Eagle 4-H Center, March 6-8, and brought home awards for their accomplishments.
In total, almost 500 students in grades 7-12 competed, representing 40 counties in the Northeast District.

Carolina Street in downtown Hartwell between Howell and Depot streets has experienced a renaissance of late.
When fall began in 2018, only a couple of businesses were operating in the one-block stretch that included a vacant former car dealership and a vacant former textile factory and warehouse.

County hones liquor by drink resolution
