TSPLOST ticking closer

A transportation special purpose local option sales tax (TSPLOST) is one step closer to potentially being on the Nov. 3 ballot after the Hart County Board of Commissioners announced its intention to move forward with a formal meeting.

A Madison County man was arrested by the Hart County Sheriff's Office following the recovery of a stolen vehicle out of Elbert County June 2.Sheriff Chris Carroll said deputies located the vehicle, a 2004 Ford Super Duty, traveling along Anderson Highway, headed towards Hartwell around 10:44 p.m.
