Animal control searching for information on dogs following livestock killing

Hart County Animal Control is seeking information on two dogs who were involved in an "active investigation involving killed livestock."Animal Control officer Cory Payne said the dogs were "captured on a trail camera on Elberton Highway near the Cateechee Golf Club.

Farm Bureau seeking entries for farm dog contest

Submitted byTina SimmonsHart County Farm BureauGeorgia Farm Bureau (GFB) is accepting entries for its 2026 Georgia Farm Dog Contest. Entries will be accepted through 10:59 p.m. on May 1 or until 200 entries are received, whichever comes first.
