The Hart County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to deny a beer and wine license to the Reed Creek General Store amid a public presence at the meeting in support of the licence on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
The county ordinance says beer and wine cannot be sold within 350 yards of a church.

Dual enrollment bill could impact Hart

If Georgia House Bill 444 is adopted and signed by Gov. Brian Kemp, dual enrollment will be restricted in high schools throughout Georgia.
The bill that passed the Senate on Jan. 28 would limit students to 30 hours of college courses paid for by state funds.
