Little League is back. Hart County’s youth returned to the diamonds on Saturday, March. 20 to tee off a new season of Little League baseball and softball action a year after the coronavirus pandemic forced the season to be cancelled.

March 15, 1912 — Robert G. Fowler the “Ocean to Ocean” aviator gave a “practical and sensational demonstration of all the most thrilling features of flying” in Athens. Fowler used the same Wright biplane in which he broke records by flying from Los Angeles to Jacksonville.
