1969: Arsonists set four fires within days to destroy two buildings and severely damage two others.
The first fire occurred at 1 a.m., Wednesday morning and the second fire was set at 10:30 Wednesday night. Both homes were empty at the time and no one was injured.
The third fire occurred at 8 a.m.

Bowersville council removes through truck ordinance
