Carolina man indicted on 19 charges for chase

An Anderson man who allegedly led Georgia State Patrol and Hart County Sheriff’s deputies on a high speed chase near Lavonia was indicted by a Hart County grand jury Monday on 19 charges.

Board of Education approves new classroom cameras

On Monday, Nov. 14, the Hart County Board of Education approved the replacement of 112 older cameras throughout the Hart County School System in favor of newer ones that will enhance teacher and student instruction and security.

Hart County’s Cross Country boys finished in the top 10 while the girls placed in the top 20 at this weekend’s state tournament. Hart County’s cross country traveled to Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia on Saturday, Nov. 5 for the GHSA Cross Country Championships.
