American Legion golf tournament set for May 4

The Hartwell Golf Club gets set to host the annual 2024 American Legion Golf Tournament on May 4. The annual American Legion Golf Tournament is a crucial event to all that the American Legion Post 109 does for the veterans in Hart County and the surrounding communities.

Paul and Renee Chamley moved to Hartwell a little over a year ago with a passion for electric bikes. The couple quickly opened up a licensed Pedego dealership at 64 W. Howell St. Pedego is an industry leader in the field of electric bicycles with over 200 retail locations throughout North America.

Agriscience Center could house inmates

With the new Hart County jail slated to open later this month, the Hart County Charter School System (HCCS) announced that its facilities and staff will be used in an emergency situation should the Hart County Sheriff’s Office require their services.
