Mrs. Rosa Lee Stowe Rice, 89, of Fairview Ave., Hartwell, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson, S.C. Born on December 6, 1930 in Toccoa, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William Adger Stowe and Matilda Bell Stowe.

Coach Bill Ensley Sr.

(Coach) William (Bill) Ensley, Sr. of Dahlonega, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2020. Bill was born on March 28, 1935, to Eugene and Ramie Childers Ensley in Chatsworth, Ga.

Mary Jordan Bailey, 55, of Sunset Lane, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at her home. A daughter of Doris Mann Jordan and the late Boyd Jordan, she was born November 10, 1964 in Pennsylvania, having lived in Bowersville, Ga., most of her life and the last four years in Toccoa.

Ronald David Kidd, 72, of S. Thomas Street, Elberton, husband of 53 years to Lydia Chandler Kidd, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at his residence.  Mr. Kidd was born in Elberton on November 21, 1947, son of the late James Vernon Kidd, Sr. and Ida Cornelia Moore Kidd.

Mrs. Elva Jim Alewine, died Feb. 7, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Hartwell. Memorials may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Family Life Center, 3636 Lavonia Hwy.

Diane Davis, 61, of Danielsville, died Feb. 10, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Danielsville Evangelical Church.  Memorials may be made to defray medical and funeral expenses. Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
