Rosa Lee Rice

Mrs. Rosa Lee Stowe Rice, 89, of Fairview Ave., Hartwell, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson, S.C.
Born on December 6, 1930 in Toccoa, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William Adger Stowe and Matilda Bell Stowe. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons: Robert Stanley Rice of Hartwell and John Timothy Rice of Danielsville; two daughters: Patricia Ann Birge of Chipley, Fla. and Sharon Kay Fullbright of Toccoa; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Curtis Rice; one sister, Lillie Stowe Patterson; several half-brothers; and half-sisters.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with the Rev. John Silver officiating. Burial was in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
