Matthew Smith, 83, of Royston, died Jan. 25, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Bowman. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Saturday until hour of service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.

Carole Wilcox Haynes Williams, passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her children on Jan. 10, 2020. She was the owner of Dad's Restaurant, Lavonia, Ga.
