Mary Bailey

Mary Jordan Bailey, 55, of Sunset Lane, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at her home.
A daughter of Doris Mann Jordan and the late Boyd Jordan, she was born November 10, 1964 in Pennsylvania, having lived in Bowersville, Ga., most of her life and the last four years in Toccoa.  She owned and operated her beauty shop, Hair Design in Lavonia, Ga. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for the youth.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Jordan and by a sister, Gay Jordan.  
Survivors include her mother, Doris Jordan of Bowersville; husband of the home, Gerald Bailey; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gabby and Cole Fondersmith and Adrian Akin and Frankie Scalfani all of Atlanta; four sons and daughters-in-law: Samuel Aiken of Lavonia, Joey Aiken of Canon, Paul and Rachel Aiken of Toccoa and David and Adriana Aiken of Gainesville; eight grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Joy Jordan of Bowersville.
A memorial service will be held at Macedonia Methodist Church, Bowersville, at a later date.
