Beware the lobbyists

Right now, high-paid influence peddlers are working around the clock under the Gold Dome. Some of what they are “peddling” isn’t in Georgia’s best interest. Quite the opposite. Throughout the General Assembly, you can find evidence where special interests, rather than common sense, are the rule.

Thanks for speaking up for children

In 2021, we unfortunately covered several stories involving allegations of sexual assault towards minors in our community. This says very little about Hart County and more about how seriously law enforcement and society takes these crimes in 2022.

Daddy let me drive

One is legal.  Another is legal, with adult supervision.  Six others—when they come to Grandpa’s—can’t wait to be 15 and 16.  They want to drive, drive anything.  And that’s what we do.  If it’s got a motor and a steering wheel, here we go.

A conversation with Mollie

Well, Miss Mollie, what did you think about Christmas this year? MOLLIE: I know you left me at home two times, for too long. It seemed like the whole day! ME: I’m so sorry sweet, baby girl, you know I went to see your daddy and then to the Dickersons’ for Christmas dinner with them.
