Dogs dominate Devils

After an almost two hour delay, the Dogs braved the storm and dominated the Blue Devils in the season opening win.   On Aug. 15, Hart hosted their rival, the Elbert County Blue Devils, to kickoff the 2025 campaign. Just before warm ups, Mother Nature came in just before warm ups at 6:15 p.m.

Cross Country start season with Top 5 finishes

The Hart County cross country teams start the season strong with Top 5 placements at the Northeast Georgia Cross Country Championships meet.   On Aug. 16, Hart traveled to Athens to compete in the Northeast Georgia Cross Country Championships meet at Athens Christian.

Hart Academy 12U team makes program history

After sweeping the competition, the Hart Academy captured its first tournament championship in the program’s history.    On Aug. 16 and 17, the 12U Hart Academy soccer team traveled to Athens to compete in a tournament.

Little Bulldogs Cheer Camp returns after hiatus

The Cheer Dogs had a successful turnout as they revived the Little Bulldogs Cheer Camp.   On Aug. 16, the Hart County High School cheer squad welcomed close to 80 campers to the Little Bulldog Cheer Camp.

Lady Dogs go 1-2 on road trip

The Lady Dogs keep their record at .500 after going 1-2  in a three-game road stretch.    On Aug. 13, Hart traveled to Jefferson to take on the Lady Dragons. It was a pitchers battle as the game was held scoreless through five innings of play. In the bottom of the sixth, Jefferson scored two runs.

Josee Fleming named Athlete of the Week

This week’s Athlete of the Week presented by Johnson Heating & Air goes to the Volley Dogs’ junior setter Josee Fleming. Fleming has played a huge role and has helped lead the team to an undefeated start and a 3-0 weekend at the Chestatee Tournament.

Dogs kickoff against Devils Friday night

Herndon Stadium will come alive Friday night as the Hart County Bulldogs kick off their 2025 season against the Elbert County Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. Fans got their first look at this year’s team during a scrimmage against Oconee County Aug. 8, where the Dogs dominated the Warriors 28-7.
