Five Hart County High School athletes inked their names last week to play their respective sports at the next level.

Diamond Dogs take 2-of-3 over spring break, down Stephens Co.

Despite a non-region loss to Archer over spring break, the Hart County Diamond Dogs (17-5, 7-2) maintained their No. 1 ranking in Class AAA with a pair of wins over the past week.

TAKING FLIGHT: Track Dogs soar to success on senior night

The Hart County High School track teams dominated their own senior night on Tuesday, April 13. The Track Dogs hosted Greene County, Elbert County, Stephens County and Lincoln County for their senior night on Tuesday where both Hart’s boys’ and girls’ teams finished in first place as a team.

Racket Dogs split on Senior Night

The Hart County High School Racket Dogs split wins on Senior Night last Thursday, with the girls prevailing and the boys falling just short of a win. The Racket Dogs faced Rabun Gap on April 1 at home for Senior Night, where the boys’ squad fell 2-3, and the girls captured a 4-1 victory.

Diamond Dogs split, take Franklin series

The Hart County High School Diamond Dogs split wins in a double-header against No. 10-ranked Franklin County (20-3, 7-2) on the road last week to take the series, and maintained their No. 1 ranking in Class AAA.

Lady Dogs’ golf team is finding success on the course

Several top-finishes at tournaments and matches over the past month have been in store for the Hart County girls’ golf team, as they seek out an area championship later this month. The Lady Dogs have been swinging nice scores as of late, and are hoping to finish as one of the top teams in the area.
