Two Dogs represent Hart in FCA All-Star Classic

Two senior Diamond Dogs competed for Team Georgia in the FCA All Star Classic on June 1 at Emmanuel College. Two seniors from each selected school were able to tap two seniors to compete in the 2023 FCA All-Star Classic.

HCHS softball teaches fundamentals at annual summer camp

The Hart County softball team hosted their annual Lady Bulldog softball camp on June 5-6, teaching campers fundamentals and to also have fun. All of the current high school softball coaches and players were in attendance as they helped run the camp for the 30-plus campers in attendance.
Mattie Weathers won the hot-shot competition for her age group and was also named camper of the week.

The Hart County High School basketball teams hosted a record number of campers at their annual summer basketball camp for kids going into Pre-K, all the way up to rising eighth graders on May 30 - June 1.

The Hart County High School baseball, softball, and soccer teams prepare to host summer camps in the month of June. The HCHS Diamond Dogs will be hosting a baseball camp from June 5-8 at Saye Field.

Little League rookie softball team advances to sectionals

The Hart County Little League rookie softball team swept Oglethorpe County by a score of 14-4 and 9-7 to advance to sectionals. On May 23 in game one, Hart came away with a 14-4 win over Oglethorpe and was just one win away from moving onto sectionals in a best of three series.

The Diamond Dogs gear up for a trip to the Dominican Republic

The Hart County High School baseball team will head down to the Dominican Republic on June 6 to play baseball but also share the gospel. Shane Williamson, who is the president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes [FCA], brought up an idea to the area director of Lake Hartwell FCA’s Chad Posey.

The Hart County High School boys and girls basketball team will host a basketball camp on May 30 through June 1 from 9 a.m. until noon. The camp is for rising Pre-K students to rising eighth graders.
