After defeating Madison County on the road Sept. 14 and Monroe Area at home, Hebron Christian gave the Volley Dogs their third loss of the year in heartbreaking fashion Sept. 19.
Hart took a trip to Madison County to take on the Lady Red Raiders and the Lady Gladiators of Clarke Central.

Reclassification can always be tricky. But the biggest news that everyone knew was coming, was the elimination of Class AAAAAAA (7A).

The Hart County High School boys and girls cross country teams traveled to North Hall High School to compete in the 2023 North Hall Invitational, in which the boys placed 12th overall and the girls placed 17th.
For the boys, senior Braydon Lane was the top finisher for the Dogs placing 12th.

Dogs second quarter comeback ends after third quarter mistakes

After a second quarter rally by the Dogs, the Lions of Daniel capitalized on Hart’s errors in the third quarter to capture their third win of the year, 52-21.
The Dogs hosted the Lions in Herndon Stadium for the first time in program history, but the second all-time meeting between the schools.

Hart County and Daniel do not have a lot of history between the two schools, as their first meeting was just a year ago over in Central, S.C.
