Volleydogs split region matches on the road

The Hart County High School volleyball team split its first two region matches of the season Tuesday night on the road in East Jackson – moving the Volleydogs overall record to (9-5, 1-1).

Softball team drops region games, tops North Oconee

The Hart County High School softball team (6-6, 1-4) dropped two region games over the past week, but topped North Oconee 10-4 on Monday. The Lady Dogs held region opponent Jefferson scoreless through the first four innings on Aug.

Elbert has new coach, new attitude

Lady Diamond Dogs drop two games

Region opponents gave the Hart County High School softball team (5-4, 1-2) some trouble over the past week. The Lady Dogs fell one-run short to Morgan County on Thursday (Aug. 15) and dropped Tuesday night’s region match-up against Franklin County 2-0 as well.

Hart runners win home meet

A record-breaking individual time and multiple top-10 placements lifted the Hart County boys’ cross country team to a first place finish in the first meet of the season at home last Thursday, Aug. 15, while the girls’ team captured third place.

Bulldogs tear up tigers

A productive ground attack and relentless defense propelled the Hart County High School football team to a shutout victory over the Washington-Wilkes Tigers in a scrimmage game last Friday in Hartwell.

Hart runners eye podium finish at state

Cross country season starts today (Thursday)  for the Hart County High School team, and the Bulldogs are looking to stand atop podiums this year after some intensive pre-season training. Head boys’ and girls’ coach Cecil Marett is optimistic for both squads heading into the season.
