Botancial Garden to hold final fundraiser Sunday

Submitted by Lorin Sinn-Clark Hart County Botanical Garden The Way Down Yonder Band will play a benefit concert for the Hart County Botanical Garden’s final fundraiser of the year on Sunday, Oct. 12 at the amphitheater in the garden.  Music starts at 5 p.m.

Grand jury returns 28 true bills during February session

A Hart County grand jury returned all 28 criminal cases presented as true bills during a session Feb. 17 and Feb. 18. True bills include: •Blakelie Jean Chapman – one count obstruction of an officer; one count possession of drug related objects; one count speeding; and one count open container.

Humane Society to hold Second Saturday adoption event March 8

The Hart County Humane Society will hold its monthly “Second Saturday” event Saturday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the J. Robert Mauldin Animal Sanctuary located at 1364 Reed Creek Highway. Stop by to discuss adoptions, fostering and volunteering with the shelter.
