Hartwell man arrested in Franklin Springs shooting

By Shane Scoggins Franklin County  Citizen Leader A Hartwell man has been charged after a shooting Monday at a Franklin Springs business. The Franklin Springs Police Department responded to the Royston Tobacco and Vape Shop in the Tri-County Plaza Monday at 8:32 p.m.

Senate bans local gun storage laws with first bill

Parson named new head football coach

Biff Parson has been named Hart County’s 18th head football coach.  He, alongside his wife Anna, who will be a math teacher at Hart County High School (HCHS) were approved, pending background checks, during Monday night’s Hart County Board of Education.
