High School FFA plant sale set for April 3

Submitted by Grayson Williams Hart County Charter System Hart County High School Horticulture students are excited to announce the annual HCHS FFA Spring Plant Sale, taking place Friday, April 3, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the HCHS Greenhouse, located at 284 Campbell Drive.

Refried Band gives back through music

Kay Cleveland is loving life

  Hartwell resident Kay Cleveland, 89, met her goal of traveling to all 50 states in her eighties.  She is no stranger to travelling, though, or anything, really.  Cleveland, a former adult art instructor and bus driver, does not shy away from trying anything.

Cornerstone breaks ground on student ministry building

Cornerstone Baptist Church is preparing to provide a home for the next generation to learn and grow in their relationship with Christ with the breaking of ground on their new student ministry building. Founded in 1994, Cornerstone has been directly across from Walmart since 2003.
