Truck crash on top of car in crash

A two-vehicle accident at the corner of West Johnson Street and Chandler Street ended in a close call for one driver. Authorities said it appeared a white GMC Sierra turned into a black Lexus stopped at the stop sign on Johnson Street and rolled on top of it.

Garbage truck fire spreads to other vehicles

A Hartwell garbage truck caught fire Thursday morning around 11 a.m. in the parking lot of Woodlake Apartments on Reed Creek Highway and spread to a nearby vehicle.
