After two rough road losses to Oconee County and Hebron Christian, the Lady Dogs end the first half of region play without a win.

The Hart County High School boys and girls cross country teams competed in the North Georgia Cross Country Invitational Sept. 16 as multiple runners hit their personal records.

After keeping it a one score game at the half, mistakes caused the Dogs to fall out of the game losing 30-10 to Lumpkin County on the road.

After defeating Madison County on the road Sept. 14 and Monroe Area at home, Hebron Christian gave the Volley Dogs their third loss of the year in heartbreaking fashion Sept. 19.

Hart County’s Emergency Medical Technical Technicians (EMT) jokingly refer to themselves as the “redheaded step children” of local public safety.
