Sheriff’s office, Georgia DDS warn of trio of scams

By Rose Scoggins Editor/Publisher   The Hart County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) are warning the public about a trio of scams circulating regarding jury duty, formerly incarcerated individuals and traffic tickets.

Waters Edge Ministry to hold annual ‘Blessing of the Fleet’ service Sunday

Submitted by Angela Gary Waters Edge Ministry   It’s almost time for the fourth season for Water’s Edge Ministry at Lake Hartwell. The summer season will kick off Memorial Day weekend with services held through Labor Day weekend (no service July 4 weekend). The service will begin at 9:30 a.m.
