Caudell wins summer Lake Living cover contest

Kim Caudell of Toccoa was named the winner of CNI’s contest for the cover of the summer edition of Lake Living.   Caudell selected a photo she snapped in 2022 of her two children, Britt and Benjamin, dressed up for Independence Day to submit into the competition.

Hart participates in statewide Bible reading

Around 17 people gathered outsde the Hart County Courthouse at 7:14 a.m. July 14 to participate in a statewide reading of the Bible.  Through dividing scripture, participants in all 159 counties were able to read through the entire Bible.

Comprehensive plan meeting puts planning in public’s hands

Hartwell residents offered crucial input on the City of Hartwell’s 2025 comprehensive plan draft during Monday’s local planning open house, utilizing a format that allowed them to visualize and shape future land use.
