Celebrating recovery in Hart County

For nearly 14 years, the Celebrate Recovery program has offered Hart County a safe space for people to find healing from a wide range of struggles, including addiction, grief, and anxiety.

Grand jury returns 42 true bills, one no bill

A Hart County grand jury returned 42 true bills and one no bill following its August 2025 term held Aug. 18 through Aug. 20.    One case, for Joshua Ray Amos – aggravated battery (felony) – was returned as a no bill and did not result in an indictment for the charge.

Fur farm foxes find sanctuary at The Haven Zoo

Once living in two-foot-by-two-foot enclosures, one male and three female red foxes have found sanctuary at The Haven Zoo with sunlight, fresh air, enrichment and high-protein meals.
