Edwards inducted into Hall of Fame

Hart County girls basketball head coach Mike Edwards has been cemented into the Valwood High School Hall of Fame.    Edwards’ alma mater, Valwood High School out of Valdosta, inducted its fourth class into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame Sept. 11-12.

Journey ‘Into the Woods’ at HCCT

Theatre-goers will have an opportunity to take a journey “Into the Woods” at the Hart County Community Theatre  (HCCT) as performances of the show debut this weekend.

Following fiery footsteps

Following two generations of firemen, Danny Alan Daniel’s destiny was to serve the community by saving lives and fighting fires. Now, he serves as the city’s fire chief, managing a team of 41 volunteer and full-time firefighters.
