C.S. Lewis said that “to love is to be vulnerable” and for 60 years Dean, 83, and Faire Teasley, 78, have lived together in Lewis’ axiom steadfastly in marriage. Dean and Faire met each other through Dean’s first cousin and best friend, who Faire was dating at the time.

Diamond Dogs start the 2023 season 0-2

The Hart County Diamond Dogs had a rough start to the season by dropping both games on the road to Elbert County Feb. 8 and then to Tallulah Falls on Tuesday. The Elbert County game was originally scheduled for Feb.

Smith leads Lady Dogs on Senior Night win

The Hart County Lady Dogs end the regular season with a home win over their rival, Franklin County, 73-40. The Lady Dogs started the night by honoring the lone senior guard, Valasha Carter, as she potentially played her final game on the hardwood at Hart County High School.

Soccer Dogs sweep Towns out of town

Webb honored as freshman of the month

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Tavarus Webb of Emmanuel has been selected as the Freshman of the Month for Conference Carolinas men’s basketball for January of 2023. The 6-foot-4 freshman guard from Hartwell, Georgia, Webb averaged 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, 2.0 steals and 1.
