After winning the first two games, the Lady Dogs fell to Wade Hampton in the 2023 McDonald’s Shootout to finish as the runner ups. Hart took on the Lady Dogs of Pendleton out of South Carolina for a battle of the Dogs in the first round of the McDonald’s Shootout.
Eight-year-old Aaliyah Martin said she wanted to use her Christmas to help those in need in our local community. Martin’s goal is to make 20 backpacks filled with blankets and toiletry items to help the homeless

On the evening of Dec. 30, Hart County Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified of a stolen dark-colored 2016 Ford Mustang on Bowman Hwy (Hwy 172) heading towards Hartwell. The vehicle had been reported stolen by the Amarillo Police Department in Amarillo, Texas.
